Pastor David grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he came to faith in Christ around age 5–6 during a Vacation Bible School event. A year later, while playing in his room, he felt a clear calling to ministry — a conviction that has shaped every chapter of his life since.
At age 7, his family moved to Los Angeles, arriving just as Cornerstone Church was being founded in 1993. He has been part of this community ever since — beginning by organizing shoes at the entrance, and growing into his role as a Junior High teacher during his college years.
After completing his M.Div. at seminary, Pastor David now serves as the College & Young Adult Pastor, walking alongside the next generation as they discover their own faith and calling.
