Joshua's story begins with a near-drowning at age three — a moment he looks back on as God marking his life for a purpose before he could even understand it.
He came to faith during a winter retreat in sixth grade, but for years his faith followed the familiar pattern of emotional highs and gradual drifting. It wasn't until he encountered Scripture-centered discipleship at Cornerstone Church that his faith found a stable foundation — one that didn't depend on feeling.
After initially pursuing occupational therapy and financial stability, Joshua experienced a moment of surrender. He walked away from worldly ambitions and committed himself fully to ministry — finding in that surrender a deeper fulfillment than any career could offer.
He now serves as Assistant Pastor at Cornerstone Church, where the community that shaped his own faith has become the place where he helps shape others.
