1Doth not wisdom cry, And understanding put forth her voice?

2On the top of high places by the way, Where the paths meet, she standeth;

3Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, At the coming in at the doors, she crieth aloud:

4Unto you, O men, I call; And my voice is to the sons of men.

5O ye simple, understand prudence; And, ye fools, be of an understanding heart.

6Hear, for I will speak excellent things; And the opening of my lips shall be right things.

7For my mouth shall utter truth; And wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

8All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.

9They are all plain to him that understandeth, And right to them that find knowledge.

10Receive my instruction, and not silver; And knowledge rather than choice gold.

11For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.

12I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledge `and' discretion.

13The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.

14Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might.

15By me kings reign, And princes decree justice.

16By me princes rule, And nobles, `even' all the judges of the earth.

17I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.

18Riches and honor are with me; `Yea', durable wealth and righteousness.

19My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; And my revenue than choice silver.

20I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice;

21That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance, And that I may fill their treasuries.

22Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old.

23I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was.

24When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.

25Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth;

26While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world.

27When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon the face of the deep,

28When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong,

29When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth;

30Then I was by him, `as' a master workman; And I was daily `his' delight, Rejoicing always before him,

31Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.

32Now therefore, `my' sons, hearken unto me; For blessed are they that keep my ways.

33Hear instruction, and be wise, And refuse it not.

34Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.

35For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favor of Jehovah.

36But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: All they that hate me love death.

1지혜가 부르지 아니하느냐 명철이 소리를 높이지 아니하느냐

2그가 길 가의 높은 곳과 네거리에 서며

3성문 곁과 문 어귀와 여러 출입하는 문에서 불러 이르되

4사람들아 내가 너희를 부르며 내가 인자들에게 소리를 높이노라

5어리석은 자들아 너희는 명철할지니라 미련한 자들아 너희는 마음이 밝을지니라

6너희는 들을지어다 내가 가장 선한 것을 말하리라 내 입술을 열어 정직을 내리라

7내 입은 진리를 말하며 내 입술은 악을 미워하느니라

8내 입의 말은 다 의로운즉 그 가운데에 굽은 것과 패역한 것이 없나니

9이는 다 총명 있는 자가 밝히 아는 바요 지식 얻은 자가 정직하게 여기는 바니라

10너희가 은을 받지 말고 나의 훈계를 받으며 정금보다 지식을 얻으라

11대저 지혜는 진주보다 나으므로 원하는 모든 것을 이에 비교할 수 없음이니라

12나 지혜는 명철로 주소를 삼으며 지식과 근신을 찾아 얻나니

13여호와를 경외하는 것은 악을 미워하는 것이라 나는 교만과 거만과 악한 행실과 패역한 입을 미워하느니라

14내게는 계략과 참 지식이 있으며 나는 명철이라 내게 능력이 있으므로

15나로 말미암아 왕들이 치리하며 방백들이 공의를 세우며

16나로 말미암아 재상과 존귀한 자 곧 모든 의로운 재판관들이 다스리느니라

17나를 사랑하는 자들이 나의 사랑을 입으며 나를 간절히 찾는 자가 나를 만날 것이니라

18부귀가 내게 있고 장구한 재물과 공의도 그러하니라

19내 열매는 금이나 정금보다 나으며 내 소득은 순은보다 나으니라

20나는 정의로운 길로 행하며 공의로운 길 가운데로 다니나니

21이는 나를 사랑하는 자가 재물을 얻어서 그 곳간에 채우게 하려 함이니라

22여호와께서 그 조화의 시작 곧 태초에 일하시기 전에 나를 가지셨으며

23만세 전부터, 태초부터, 땅이 생기기 전부터 내가 세움을 받았나니

24아직 바다가 생기지 아니하였고 큰 샘들이 있기 전에 내가 이미 났으며

25산이 세워지기 전에, 언덕이 생기기 전에 내가 이미 났으니

26하나님이 아직 땅도, 들도, 세상 진토의 근원도 짓지 아니하셨을 때에라

27그가 하늘을 지으시며 궁창을 해면에 두르실 때에 내가 거기 있었고

28그가 위로 구름 하늘을 견고하게 하시며 바다의 샘들을 힘 있게 하시며

29바다의 한계를 정하여 물이 명령을 거스르지 못하게 하시며 또 땅의 기초를 정하실 때에

30내가 그 곁에 있어서 창조자가 되어 날마다 그의 기뻐하신 바가 되었으며 항상 그 앞에서 즐거워하였으며

31사람이 거처할 땅에서 즐거워하며 인자들을 기뻐하였느니라

32아들들아 이제 내게 들으라 내 도를 지키는 자가 복이 있느니라

33훈계를 들어서 지혜를 얻으라 그것을 버리지 말라

34누구든지 내게 들으며 날마다 내 문 곁에서 기다리며 문설주 옆에서 기다리는 자는 복이 있나니

35대저 나를 얻는 자는 생명을 얻고 여호와께 은총을 얻을 것임이니라

36그러나 나를 잃는 자는 자기의 영혼을 해하는 자라 나를 미워하는 자는 사망을 사랑하느니라

1The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.

2For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath ceased to be wise `and' to do good.

4He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.

5Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness `reacheth' unto the skies.

6Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.

7How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

9For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.

10Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, And thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11Let not the foot of pride come against me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

12There are the workers of iniquity fallen: They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise. Psalm 37 `A Psalm' of David.

1악인의 죄가 그의 마음속으로 이르기를 그의 눈에는 하나님을 두려워하는 빛이 없다 하니

2그가 스스로 자랑하기를 자기의 죄악은 드러나지 아니하고 미워함을 받지도 아니하리라 함이로다

3그의 입에서 나오는 말은 죄악과 속임이라 그는 지혜와 선행을 그쳤도다

4그는 그의 침상에서 죄악을 꾀하며 스스로 악한 길에 서고 악을 거절하지 아니하는도다

5여호와여 주의 인지하심이 하늘에 있고 주의 진실하심이 공중에 사무쳤으며

6주의 공의는 하나님의 산들과 같고 주의 심판은 큰 바다와 같으니이다 여호와여 주는 사람과 짐승을 구하여 주시나이다

7하나님이여 주의 인자하심이 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 사람들이 주의 날개 그늘 아래에 피하나이다

8그들이 주의 집에 있는 살진 것으로 풍족할 것이라 주께서 주의 복락의 강물을 마시게 하시리이다

9진실로 생명의 원천이 주께 있사오니 주의 빛 안에서 우리가 빛을 보리이다

10주를 아는 자들에게 주의 인자하심을 계속 베푸시며 마음이 정직한 자에게 주의 공의를 베푸소서

11교만한 자의 발이 내게 이르지 못하게 하시며 악인들의 손이 나를 쫓아내지 못하게 하소서

12악을 행하는 자들이 거기서 넘어졌으니 엎드러지고 다시 일어날 수 없으리이다

1Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, Neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.

2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.

3Trust in Jehovah, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on `his' faithfulness.

4Delight thyself also in Jehovah; And he will give thee the desires of thy heart.

5Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.

6And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, And thy justice as the noon-day.

7Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, `it tendeth' only to evil-doing.

9For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.

10For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.

11But the meek shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12The wicked plotteth against the just, And gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13The Lord will laugh at him; For he seeth that his day is coming.

14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay such as are upright in the way.

15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.

16Better is a little that the righteous hath Than the abundance of many wicked.

17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; But Jehovah upholdeth the righteous.

18Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; And their inheritance shall be for ever.

19They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20But the wicked shall perish, And the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; In smoke shall they consume away.

21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again; But the righteous dealeth graciously, and giveth.

22For such as are blessed of him shall inherit the land; And they that are cursed of him shall be cut off.

23A man's goings are established of Jehovah; And he delighteth in his way.

24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.

25I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.

26All the day long he dealeth graciously, and lendeth; And his seed is blessed.

27Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore.

28For Jehovah loveth justice, And forsaketh not his saints; They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever.

30The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, And his tongue speaketh justice.

31The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.

32The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him.

33Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.

34Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

35I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.

36But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a `happy' end to the man of peace.

38As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together; The end of the wicked shall be cut off.

39But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.

40And Jehovah helpeth them, and rescueth them; He rescueth them from the wicked, and saveth them, Because they have taken refuge in him. Psalm 38 A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.

1악을 행하는 자들 때문에 불평하지 말며 불의를 행하는 자들을 시기하지 말지어다

2그들은 풀과 같이 속히 베임을 당할 것이며 푸른 채소 같이 쇠잔할 것임이로다

3여호와를 의뢰하고 선을 행하라 땅에 머무는 동안 그의 성실을 먹을거리로 삼을지어다

4또 여호와를 기뻐하라 그가 내 마음의 소원을 네게 이루어 주시로다

5네 길을 여호와께 맡기라 그를 의지하면 그가 이루시고

6네 의를 빛 같이 나타내시며 네 공의를 정오의 빛 같이 하시리로다

7여호와 앞에 잠잠하고 참고 기다리라 자기 길이 형통하며 악한 죄를 이루는 자 때문에 불평하지 말지어다

8분을 그치고 노를 버리며 불평하지 말라 오히려 악을 만들 뿐이라

9진실로 악을 행하는 자들은 끊어질 것이나 여호와를 소망하는 자들은 땅을 차지하리로다

10잠시 후에는 악인이 없어지리니 네가 그 곳을 자세히 살필지라도 없으리로다

11그러나 온유한 자들은 땅을 차지하며 풍성한 화평으로 즐거워하리로다

12악인이 의인 치기를 꾀하고 그를 향하여 그의 이를 가는도다

13그러나 주께서 그를 비웃으시리니 그의 날이 다가옴을 보심이로다

14악인이 칼을 빼고 활을 당겨 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 엎드러뜨리며 행위가 정직한 자를 죽이고자 하나

15그들의 칼은 오히려 그들의 양심을 찌르고 그들의 활은 부러지리로다

16의인의 적은 소유가 악인의 풍부함보다 낫도다

17악인의 팔은 부러지나 의인은 여호와께서 붙드시는도다

18여호와께서 온전한 자의 날을 아시나니 그들의 기업은 영원하리로다

19그들은 환난 때에 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하며 기근의 날에도 풍족할 것이나

20악인들은 멸망하고 여호와의 원수들은 어린 양의 기름 같이 타서 연기가 되어 없어지리로다

21악인은 꾸고 갚지 아니하나 의인은 은혜를 베풀고 주는도다

22주의 복을 받은 자들은 땅을 차지하고 주의 저주를 받은 자들은 끊어지리로다

23여호와께서 사람의 걸음을 정하시고 그의 길을 기뻐하시나니

24그는 넘어지나 아주 엎드러지지 아니함은 여호와께서 그의 손으로 붙드심이로다

25내가 어려서부터 늙기까지 의인이 버림을 당하거나 그의 자손이 걸식함을 보지 못하였도다

26그는 종일토록 은혜를 베풀고 꾸어 주니 그의 자손이 복을 받는도다

27악에서 떠나 선을 행하라 그리하면 영원히 살리니

28여호와께서 정의를 사랑하시고 그의 성도를 버리지 아니하심이로다 그들은 영원히 보호를 받으나 악인의 자손은 끊어지리로다

29의인이 땅을 차지함이여 거기서 영원히 살리로다

30의인의 입은 지혜로우며 그의 혀는 정의를 말하며

31그의 마음에는 하나님의 법이 있으니 그의 걸음은 실족함이 없으리로다

32악인의 의인을 엿보아 살해할 기회를 찾으나

33여호와는 그를 악인의 손에 버려 두지 아니하시고 재판 때에도 정죄하지 아니하시리로다

34여호와를 바라고 그의 도를 지키라 그리하면 네가 땅을 차지하게 하실 것이라 악인이 끊어질 때에 네가 똑똑히 보리로다

35내가 악인의 큰 세력을 본즉 그 본래의 땅에 서 있는 나무 잎이 무성함과 같으나

36내가 지나갈 때에 그는 없어졌나니 내가 찾아도 발견하지 못하였도다

37온전한 사람을 살피고 정직한 자를 볼지어다 모든 화평한 자의 미래는 평안이로다

38범죄자들은 함께 멸망하리니 악인의 미래는 끊어질 것이나

39의인들의 구원은 여호와로부터 오나니 그는 환난 때에 그들의 요새이시로다

40여호와께서 그들을 도와 건지시되 악인들에게서 건져 구원하심은 그를 의지한 까닭이로다

1O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2For thine arrows stick fast in me, And thy hand presseth me sore.

3There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; Neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.

4For mine iniquities are gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

5My wounds are loathsome and corrupt, Because of my foolishness.

6I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

7For my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.

8I am faint and sore bruised: I have groaned by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

9Lord, all my desire is before thee; And my groaning is not hid from thee.

10My heart throbbeth, my strength faileth me: As for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

11My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; And my kinsmen stand afar off.

12They also that seek after my life lay snares `for me'; And they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, And meditate deceits all the day long.

13But I, as a deaf man, hear not; And I am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

14Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, And in whose mouth are no reproofs.

15For in thee, O Jehovah, do I hope: Thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.

16For I said, Lest they rejoice over me: When my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

17For I am ready to fall, And my sorrow is continually before me.

18For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

19But mine enemies are lively, `and' are strong; And they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

20They also that render evil for good Are adversaries unto me, because I follow the thing that is good.

21Forsake me not, O Jehovah: O my God, be not far from me.

1여호와여 주의 노하심으로 나를 책망하지 마시고 주의 분노하심으로 나를 징계하지 마소서

2주의 화살이 나를 찌르고 주의 손이 나를 심히 누르시나이다

3주의 진노로 말미암아 내 살에 성한 곳이 없사오며 나의 죄로 말미암아 내 뼈에 평안함이 없나이다

4내 죄악이 내 머리에 넘쳐서 무거운 짐 같으니 내가 감당할 수 없나이다

5내 상처가 썩어 악취가 나오니 내가 우매한 까닭이로소이다

6내가 아프고 심히 구부러졌으며 종일토록 슬픔 중에 다니나이다

7내 허리에 열기가 아득하고 내 살에 성한 곳이 없나이다

8내가 피곤하고 심히 상하였으매 마음이 불안하여 신음하나이다

12내 생명을 찾는 자가 올무를 놓고 나를 해하려는 자가 괴악한 일을 말하여 종일토록 음모를 꾸미오나

13나는 못 듣는 자 같이 듣지 아니하고 말 못하는 자 같이 입을 열지 아니하오니

14나는 듣지 못하는 자 같아서 내 입에는 반박할 말이 없나이다

15여호와여 내가 주를 바랐사오니 내 주 하나님이 내게 응답하시리이다

16내가 말하기를 두렵건대 그들이 나 때문에 기뻐하며 내가 실족할 때에 나를 향하여 스스로 교만할까 함이니이다

17내가 넘어지게 되었고 나의 근심이 항상 내 앞에 있사오니

18내 죄악을 아뢰고 내 죄를 슬퍼함이니이다

19내 원수가 활발하며 강하고 부당하게 나를 미워하는 자가 많으며

20또 악으로 선을 대신하는 자들이 내가 선을 따른다는 것 때문에 나를 대적하나이다

21여호와여 나를 버리지 마소서 나의 하나님이여 나를 멀리하지 마소서

22속히 나를 도우소서 주 나의 구원이시여

1I said, I will take heed to my ways, That I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, While the wicked is before me.

2I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; And my sorrow was stirred.

3My heart was hot within me; While I was musing the fire burned: `Then' spake I with my tongue:

4Jehovah, make me to know mine end, And the measure of my days, what it is; Let me know how frail I am.

5Behold, thou hast made my days `as' handbreadths; And my life-time is as nothing before thee: Surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. Selah

6Surely every man walketh in a vain show; Surely they are disquieted in vain: He heapeth up `riches', and knoweth not who shall gather them.

7And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee.

8Deliver me from all my transgressions: Make me not the reproach of the foolish.

9I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; Because thou didst it.

10Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thy hand.

11When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, Thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: Surely every man is vanity. Selah

12Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and give ear unto my cry; Hold not thy peace at my tears: For I am a stranger with thee, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.

1내가 말하기를 나의 행위를 조심하여 내 혀로 범죄하지 아니하리니 악인이 내 앞에 있을 때에 내가 내 입에 재갈을 먹이리라 하였도다

2내가 잠잠하여 선한 말도 하지 아니하니 나의 근심이 더 심하도다

3내 마음이 내 속에서 뜨거워서 작은 소리로 읊조릴 때에 불이 붙으니 나의 혀로 말하기를

4여호와여 나의 종말과 연한이 언제까지인지 알게 하사 내가 나의 연약함을 알게 하소서

5주께서 나의 날을 한 뼘 길이만큼 되게 하시매 나의 일생이 주 앞에는 없는 것 같사오니 사람은 그가 든든히 서 있는 때에도 진실로 모두가 허사 뿐이니이다 (셀라)

6진실로 각 사람은 그림자 같이 다니고 헛된 일로 소란하며 재물을 쌓으나 누가 거둘는지 알지 못하나이다

7주여 이제 내가 무엇을 바라리요 나의 소망은 주께 있나이다

8나를 모든 죄에서 건지시며 우매한 자에게서 욕을 당하지 아니하게 하소서

9내가 잠잠하고 입을 열지 아니함은 주께서 이를 행하신 까닭이니이다

10주의 징벌을 나에게서 옮기소서 주의 손이 치심으로 내가 쇠망하였나이다

11주께서 죄악을 책망하사 사람을 징계하실 때에 그 영화를 좀먹음 같이 소멸하게 하시니 참으로 인생이란 모두 헛될 뿐이니이다 (셀라)

12여호와여 나의 기도를 들으시며 나의 부르짖음에 귀를 기울이소서 내가 눈물 흘릴 때에 잠잠하지 마옵소서 나는 주와 함께 있는 나그네이며 나의 모든 조상들처럼 떠도나이다

13주는 나를 용서하사 내가 떠나 없어지기 전에 나의 건강을 회복시키소서

1I waited patiently for Jehovah; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay; And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah.

4Blessed is the man that maketh Jehovah his trust, And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5Many, O Jehovah my God, are the wonderful works which thou hast done, And thy thoughts which are to us-ward; They cannot be set in order unto thee; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

6Sacrifice and offering thou hast no delight in; Mine ears hast thou opened: Burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not required.

7Then said I, Lo, I am come; In the roll of the book it is written of me:

8I delight to do thy will, O my God; Yea, thy law is within my heart.

9I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great assembly; Lo, I will not refrain my lips, O Jehovah, thou knowest.

10I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation; I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great assembly.

11Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Jehovah; Let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

12For innumerable evils have compassed me about; Mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of my head; And my heart hath failed me.

13Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me: Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

14Let them be put to shame and confounded together That seek after my soul to destroy it: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.

15Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.

16Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified.

1내가 여호와를 기다리고 기다렸더니 귀를 기울이사 나의 부르짖음을 들으셨도다

2나를 기가 막힐 웅덩이와 수렁에서 끌어올리시고 내 발을 반석 위에 두사 내 걸음을 견고하게 하셨도다

3새 노래를 곧 우리 하나님께 올릴 찬송을 내 입에 두셨으니 많은 사람이 보고 두려워하여 여호와를 의지하리로다

4여호와를 의지하고 교만한 자와 거짓에 치우치는 자를 돌아보지 아니하는 자는 복이 있도다

5여호와 나의 하나님이여 주께서 행하신 기적이 많고 우리를 향하신 주의 생각도 많아 누구도 주와 견줄 수가 없나이다 내가 널리 알려 말하고자 하나 너무 많아 그 수를 셀 수도 없나이다

6주께서 내 귀를 통하여 내게 들려주시기를 제사와 예물을 기뻐하지 아니하시며 번제와 속죄제를 요구하지 아니하신다 하신지라

7그 때에 내가 말하기를 내가 왔나이다 나를 가리켜 기록한 것이 두루마리 책에 있나이다

8나의 하나님이여 내가 주의 뜻 행하기를 즐기오니 주의 법이 나의 심중에 있나이다 하였나이다

9내가 많은 회중 가운데에서 의의 기쁜 소식을 전하였나이다 여호와여 내가 내 입술을 닫지 아니할 줄을 주께서 아시나이다

10내가 주의 공의를 내 심중에 숨기지 아니하고 주의 성실과 구원을 선포하였으며 내가 주의 인자와 진리를 많은 회중 가운데에서 감추지 아니하였나이다

11여호와여 주의 긍휼을 내게서 거두지 마시고 주의 인자와 진리로 나를 항상 보호하소서

12수많은 재앙이 나를 둘러싸고 나의 죄악이 나를 덮치므로 우러러 볼 수도 없으며 죄가 나의 머리 털보다 많으므로 내가 낙심하였음이니이다

13여호와여 은총을 베푸사 나를 구원하소서 여호와여 속히 나를 도우소서

14내 생명을 찾아 멸하려하는 자는 다 수치와 낭패를 당하게 하시며 나의 해를 기뻐하는 자는 다 물러가 욕을 당하게 하소서

15나를 향하여 하하 하하 하며 조소하는 자들이 자기 수치로 말미암아 놀라게 하소서

16주를 찾는 자는 다 주 안에서 즐거워하고 기뻐하게 하시며 주의 구원을 사랑하는 자는 항상 말하기를 여호와는 위대하시다 하게 하소서

17나는 가난하고 궁핍하오나 주께서는 나를 생각하시오니 주는 나의 도움이시요 나를 건지시는 이시라 나의 하나님이여 지체하지 마소서
