1Now there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Becorath, the son of Aphiah, the son of a Benjamite, a mighty man of valor.
2And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a young man and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people.
3And the asses of Kish, Saul's father, were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses.
4And he passed through the hill-country of Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalishah, but they found them not: then they passed through the land of Shaalim, and there they were not: and he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they found them not.
5When they were come to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his servant that was with him, Come, and let us return, lest my father leave off caring for the asses, and be anxious for us.
6And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is a man that is held in honor; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can tell us concerning our journey whereon we go.
7Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we?
8And the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have in my hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: that will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way.
9(Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he said, Come, and let us go to the seer; for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
10Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was.
11As they went up the ascent to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here?
12And they answered them, and said, He is; behold, `he is' before thee: make haste now, for he is come to-day into the city; for the people have a sacrifice to-day in the high place:
13as soon as ye are come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he goeth up to the high place to eat; for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; `and' afterwards they eat that are bidden. Now therefore get you up; for at this time ye shall find him.
14And they went up to the city; `and' as they came within the city, behold, Samuel came out toward them, to go up to the high place.
1베냐민 지파에 기스라 이름하는 유력한 사람이 있으니 그는 아비엘의 아들이요 스롤의 손자요 베고랏의 증손이요 아비아의 현손이며 베냐민 사람이더라
2기스에게 아들이 있으니 그의 이름은 사울이요 준수한 소년이라 이스라엘 자손 중에 그보다 더 준수한 자가 없고 키는 모든 백성보다 어깨 위만큼 더 컸더라
3사울의 아버지 기스가 암나귀들을 잃고 그의 아들 사울에게 이르되 너는 일어나 한 사환을 데리고 가서 암나귀들을 찾으라 하매
4그가 에브라임 산지와 살리사 땅으로 두루 다녀 보았으나 찾지 못하고 사알림 땅으로 두루 다녀 보았으나 그 곳에는 없었고 베냐민 사람의 땅으로 두루 다녀 보았으나 찾지 못하니라
5그들이 숩 땅에 이른 때에 사울이 함께 가던 사환에게 이르되 돌아가자 내 아버지께서 암 나귀 생각은 고사하고 우리를 위하여 걱정하실까 두려워하노라 하니
6그가 대답하되 보소서 이 성읍에 하나님의 사람이 있는데 존경을 받는 사람이라 그가 말한 것은 반드시 다 응하나니 그리로 가사이다 그가 혹 우리가 갈 길을 가르쳐 줄까 하나이다 하는지라
7사울이 그의 사환에게 이르되 우리가 가면 그 사람에게 무엇을 드리겠느냐 우리 주머니에 먹을 것이 다하였으니 하나님의 사람에게 드릴 예물이 없도다 무엇이 있느냐 하니
8사환이 사울에게 다시 대답하여 이르되 보소서 내 손에 은 한 세겔의 사분의 일이 있으니 하나님의 사람에게 드려 우리 길을 가르쳐 달라 하겠나이다 하더라
9(옛적 이스라엘에 사람이 하나님께 가서 물으려 하면 말하기를 선견자에게로 가자 하였으니 지금 선지자라 하는 자를 옛적에는 선견자라 일컬었더라)
10사울이 그의 사환에게 이르되 네 말이 옳다 가자 하고 그들이 하나님의 사람이 있는 성읍으로 가니라
11그들이 성읍을 향한 비탈길로 올라가다가 물 길으러 나오는 소녀들을 만나 그들에게 묻되 선견자가 여기 있느냐 하니
12그들이 대답하여 이르되 있나이다 보소서 그가 당신보다 앞서 갔으니 빨리 가소서 백성이 오늘 산당에서 제사를 드리므로 그가 오늘 성읍에 들어오셨나이다
13당신들이 성읍으로 들어가면 그가 먹으러 산당에 올라가기 전에 곧 만나리이다 그가 오기 전에는 백성이 먹지 아니하나니 이는 그가 제물을 축사한 후에야 청함을 받은 자가 먹음이니이다 그러므로 지금 올라가소서 곧 그를 만나리이다 하는지라
14그들이 성읍으로 올라가서 그리로 들어갈 때에 사무엘이 마침 산당으로 올라가려고 마주 나오더라
In a world that constantly demands more — more productivity, more achievement, more anxiety — Psalm 23 speaks a radical word of rest. The shepherd does not drive the sheep; he leads them. There is a profound difference between a God who demands and a God who guides. Today, where do you need to let the Shepherd lead you into rest?

Prayer · 기도
Lord, help me to trust you as my shepherd today. In the places where I feel lack, remind me of your abundance. In the moments of striving, call me back to rest in you. Amen.
주님, 오늘 당신을 나의 목자로 신뢰하게 도와주소서. 부족함을 느끼는 곳에서 주님의 풍성함을 기억하게 하시고, 몸부림치는 순간에 주님 안에서 쉬게 하소서. 아멘.

잠언 7장
1My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with thee.
2Keep my commandments and live; And my law as the apple of thine eye.
3Bind them upon thy fingers; Write them upon the tablet of thy heart.
4Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; And call understanding `thy' kinswoman:
5That they may keep thee from the strange woman, From the foreigner that flattereth with her words.
6For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;
7And I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, A young man void of understanding,
8Passing through the street near her corner; And he went the way to her house,
9In the twilight, in the evening of the day, In the middle of the night and in the darkness.
10And, behold, there met him a woman With the attire of a harlot, and wily of heart.
11She is clamorous and wilful; Her feet abide not in her house:
12Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lieth in wait at every corner.
13So she caught him, and kissed him, `And' with an impudent face she said unto him:
14Sacrifices of peace-offerings are with me; This day have I paid my vows.
15Therefore came I forth to meet thee, Diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
16I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.
17I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; Let us solace ourselves with loves.
19For the man is not at home; He is gone a long journey:
20He hath taken a bag of money with him; He will come home at the full moon.
21With her much fair speech she causeth him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forceth him along.
22He goeth after her straightway, As an ox goeth to the slaughter, Or as `one in' fetters to the correction of the fool;
23Till an arrow strike through his liver; As a bird hasteth to the snare, And knoweth not that it is for his life.
24Now therefore, `my' sons, hearken unto me, And attend to the words of my mouth.
25Let not thy heart decline to her ways; Go not astray in her paths.
26For she hath cast down many wounded: Yea, all her slain are a mighty host.
27Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.
1아들아 내 말을 지키며 내 명을 간직하라
2내 계명을 지켜 살며 내 법을 네 눈동자처럼 지키라
3이것을 네 손가락에 매며 이것을 네 마음판에 새기라
4지혜에게 너는 내 누이라 하며 명철에게 너는 내 친족이라 하라
5그리하면 이것이 너를 지켜서 음녀에게, 말로 호리는 이방 여인에게 빠지지 않게 하리라
6내가 내 집 들창으로, 살창으로 내다 보다가
7어리석은 자 중에, 젊은이 가운데에 한 지혜 없는 자를 보았노라
8그가 거리를 지나 음녀의 골목 모퉁이로 가까이 하여 그의 집 쪽으로 가는데
9저물 때, 황혼 때, 깊은 밤 흑암 중에라
10그 때에 기생의 옷을 입은 간교한 여인이 그를 맞으니
11이 여인은 떠들며 완악하며 그의 발이 집에 머물지 아니하여
12어떤 때에는 거리, 어떤 때에는 광장 또 모퉁이마다 서서 사람을 기다리는 자라
13그 여인이 그를 붙잡고 그에게 입맞추며 부끄러움을 모르는 얼굴로 그에게 말하되
14내가 화목제를 드려 서원한 것을 오늘 갚았노라
15이러므로 내가 너를 맞으려고 나와 네 얼굴을 찾다가 너를 만났도다
16내 침상에는 요와 애굽의 무늬 있는 이불을 폈고
17몰약과 침향과 계피를 뿌렸노라
18오라 우리가 아침까지 흡족하게 서로 사랑하며 사랑함으로 희락하자
19남편은 집을 떠나 먼 길을 갔는데
20은 주머니를 가졌은즉 보름 날에나 집에 돌아오리라 하여
21여러 가지 고운 말로 유혹하며 입술의 호리는 말로 꾀므로
22젊은이가 곧 그를 따랐으니 소가 도수장으로 가는 것 같고 미련한 자가 벌을 받으려고 쇠사슬에 매이러 가는 것과 같도다
23필경은 화살이 그 간을 뚫게 되리라 새가 빨리 그물로 들어가되 그의 생명을 잃어버릴 줄을 알지 못함과 같으니라
24이제 아들들아 내 말을 듣고 내 입의 말에 주의하라
25네 마음이 음녀의 길로 치우치지 말며 그 길에 미혹되지 말지어다
26대저 그가 많은 사람을 상하여 엎드러지게 하였나니 그에게 죽은 자가 허다하니라
27그의 집은 스올의 길이라 사망의 방으로 내려가느니라

1In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge; Let me never be put to shame: Deliver me in thy righteousness.
2Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily: Be thou to me a strong rock, A house of defence to save me.
3For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me.
4Pluck me out of the net that they have laid privily for me; For thou art my stronghold.
5Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth.
6I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.
7I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness; For thou hast seen my affliction: Thou hast known my soul in adversities;

9Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am in distress: Mine eye wasteth away with grief, `yea', my soul and my body.

11Because of all mine adversaries I am become a reproach, Yea, unto my neighbors exceedingly, And a fear to mine acquaintance: They that did see me without fled from me.
12I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
13For I have heard the defaming of many, Terror on every side: While they took counsel together against me, They devised to take away my life.
14But I trusted in thee, O Jehovah: I said, Thou art my God.
15My times are in thy hand: Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: Save me in thy lovingkindness.
17Let me not be put to shame, O Jehovah; for I have called upon thee: Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.
18Let the lying lips be dumb, Which speak against the righteous insolently, With pride and contempt.
19Oh how great is thy goodness, Which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, Which thou hast wrought for them that take refuge in thee, Before the sons of men!
20In the covert of thy presence wilt thou hide them from the plottings of man: Thou wilt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21Blessed be Jehovah; For he hath showed me his marvellous lovingkindness in a strong city.
22As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: Nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications When I cried unto thee.
23Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints: Jehovah preserveth the faithful, And plentifully rewardeth him that dealeth proudly.

1여호와여 내가 주께 피하오니 나를 영원히 부끄럽게 하지 마시고 주의 공의로 나를 건지소서
2내게 귀를 기울여 속히 건지시고 내게 견고한 바위와 구원하는 산성이 되소서
3주는 나의 반석과 산성이시니 그러므로 주의 이름을 생각하셔서 나를 인도하시고 지도하소서
4그들이 나를 위하여 비밀히 친 그물에서 빼내소서 주는 나의 산성이시니이다

11내가 모든 대적들 때문에 욕을 당하고 내 이웃에게서는 심히 당하니 내 친구가 놀라고 길에서 보는 자가 나를 피하였나이다
12내가 잊어버린 바 됨이 죽은 자를 마음에 두지 아니함 같고 깨진 그릇과 같으니이다
13내가 무리의 비방을 들었으므로 사방이 두려움으로 감싸였나이다 그들이 나를 치려고 함께 의논할 때에 내 생명을 빼앗기로 꾀하였나이다
14여호와여 그러하여도 나는 주께 의지하고 말하기를 주는 내 하나님이시라 하였나이다
15나의 앞날이 주의 손에 있사오니 내 원수들과 나를 핍박하는 자들의 손에서 나를 건져 주소서
16주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게 비추시고 주의 사랑하심으로 나를 구원하소서
17여호와여 내가 주를 불렀사오니 나를 부끄럽게 하지 마시고 악인들을 부끄럽게 하사 스올에서 잠잠하게 하소서
18교만하고 완악한 말로 무례히 의인을 치는 거짓 입술이 말 못하는 자 되게 하소서
19주를 두려워하는 자를 위하여 쌓아 두신 은혜 곧 주께 피하는 자를 위하여 인생 앞에 베푸신 은혜가 어찌 그리 큰지요
20주께서 그들을 주의 은밀한 곳에 숨기사 사람의 꾀에서 벗어나게 하시고 비밀히 장막에 감추사 말다툼에서 면하게 하시리이다
21여호와를 찬송할지어다 견고한 성에서 그의 놀라운 사랑을 내게 보이셨음이로다
22내가 놀라서 말하기를 주의 목전에서 끊어졌다 하였사오니 내가 주께 부르짖을 때에 주께서 나의 간구하는 소리를 들으셨나이다
23너희 모든 성도들아 여호와를 사랑하라 여호와께서 진실한 자를 보호하시고 교만하게 행하는 자에게 엄중히 갚으시느니라
24여호와를 바라는 너희들아 강하고 담대하라
1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.
3When I kept silence, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.
4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture was changed `as' with the drought of summer. Selah
5I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity did I not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah
6For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.
7Thou art my hiding-place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; Thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah
8I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.
9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; Whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, `Else' they will not come near unto thee.
10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he that trusteth in Jehovah, lovingkindness shall compass him about.
11Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous; And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
1허물의 사함을 받고 자신의 죄가 가려진 자는 복이 있도다
2마음에 간사함이 없고 여호와께 정죄를 당하지 아니하는 자는 복이 있도다
3내가 입을 열지 아니할 때에 종일 신음하므로 내 뼈가 쇠하였도다
4주의 손이 주야로 나를 누르시오니 내 진액이 빠져서 여름 가뭄에 마름 같이 되었나이다 (셀라)
5내가 이르기를 내 허물을 여호와께 자복하리라 하고 주께 내 죄를 아뢰고 내 죄악을 숨기지 아니하였더니 곧 주께서 내 죄악을 사하셨나이다 (셀라)
6이로 말미암아 모든 경건한 자는 주를 만날 기회를 얻어서 주께 기도할지라 진실로 홍수가 범람할지라도 그에게 미치지 못하리이다
7주는 나의 은신처이오니 환난에서 나를 보호하시고 구원의 노래로 나를 두르시리이다 (셀라)
8내가 네 갈 길을 가르쳐 보이고 너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다
9너희는 무지한 말이나 노새 같이 되지 말지어다 그것들은 재갈과 굴레로 단속하지 아니하면 너희에게 가까이 가지 아니하리로다
10악인에게는 많은 슬픔이 있으나 여호와를 신뢰하는 자에게는 인자하심이 두르리로다
11너희 의인들아 여호와를 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다 마음이 정직한 너희들아 다 즐거이 외칠지어다
1Rejoice in Jehovah, O ye righteous: Praise is comely for the upright.
2Give thanks unto Jehovah with the harp: Sing praises unto him with the psaltery of ten strings.
3Sing unto him a new song; Play skilfully with a loud noise.
4For the word of Jehovah is right; And all his work is `done' in faithfulness.
5He loveth righteousness and justice: The earth is full of the lovingkindness of Jehovah.
6By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap: He layeth up the deeps in store-houses.
8Let all the earth fear Jehovah: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
10Jehovah bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
11The counsel of Jehovah standeth fast for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, The people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13Jehovah looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men;
14From the place of his habitation he looketh forth Upon all the inhabitants of the earth,
15He that fashioneth the hearts of them all, That considereth all their works.
16There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17A horse is a vain thing for safety; Neither doth he deliver any by his great power.
18Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his lovingkindness;
19To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
20Our soul hath waited for Jehovah: He is our help and our shield.
21For our heart shall rejoice in him, Because we have trusted in his holy name.
22Let thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, According as we have hoped in thee. Psalm 34 A Psalm of David; when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.
1너희 의인들아 여호와를 즐거워하라 찬송은 정직한 자들이 마땅히 할 바로다
2수금으로 여호와께 감사하고 열 줄 비파로 찬송할지어다
3새 노래로 그를 노래하며 즐거운 소리로 아름답게 연주할지어다
4여호와의 말씀은 정직하며 그가 행하시는 일은 다 진실하시도다
5그는 공의와 정의를 사랑하심이여 세상에는 여호와의 인자하심이 충만하도다
6여호와의 말씀으로 하늘이 지음이 되었으며 그 만상을 그의 입 기운으로 이루었도다
7그가 바닷물을 모아 무더기 같이 쌓으시며 깊은 물을 곳간에 두시도다
8온 땅은 여호와를 두려워하며 세상의 모든 거민들은 그를 경외할지어다
9그가 말씀하시매 이루어졌으며 명령하시매 견고히 섰도다
10여호와께서 나라들의 계획을 폐하시며 민족들의 사상을 무효하게 하시도다
11여호와의 계획은 영원히 서고 그의 생각은 대대에 이르리로다
12여호와를 자기 하나님으로 삼은 나라 곧 하나님의 기업으로 선택된 백성은 복이 있도다
13여호와께서 하늘에서 굽어보사 모든 인생을 살피심이여
14곧 그가 거하시는 곳에서 세상의 모든 거민들을 굽어살피시는도다
15그는 그들 모두의 마음을 지으시며 그들이 하는 일을 굽어살피시는 이로다
16많은 군대로 구원 얻은 왕이 없으며 용사가 힘이 세어도 스스로 구원하지 못하는도다
17구원하는 데에 군마는 헛되며 군대가 많다 하여도 능히 구하지 못하는도다
18여호와는 그를 경외하는 자 곧 그의 인자하심을 바라는 자를 살피사
19그들의 영혼을 사망에서 건지시며 그들이 굶주릴 때에 그들을 살리시는도다
20우리 영혼이 여호와를 바람이여 그는 우리의 도움과 방패시로다
21우리 마음이 그를 즐거워함이여 우리가 그의 성호를 의지하였기 때문이로다
22여호와여 우리가 주께 바라는 대로 주의 인자하심을 우리에게 베푸소서
1I will bless Jehovah at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My soul shall make her boast in Jehovah: The meek shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3Oh magnify Jehovah with me, And let us exalt his name together.
4I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5They looked unto him, and were radiant; And their faces shall never be confounded.
6This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them.
8Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him.
9Oh fear Jehovah, ye his saints; For there is no want to them that fear him.
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; But they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good thing.
11Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
12What man is he that desireth life, And loveth `many' days, that he may see good?
13Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking guile.
14Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.
15The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are `open' unto their cry.
16The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17`The righteous' cried, and Jehovah heard, And delivered them out of all their troubles.
18Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But Jehovah delivereth him out of them all.
20He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken.
21Evil shall slay the wicked; And they that hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; And none of them that take refuge in him shall be condemned. Psalm 35 `A Psalm' of David.
1내가 여호와를 항상 송축함이여 내 입술로 항상 주를 찬양하리이다
2내 영혼이 여호와를 자랑하리니 곤고한 자들이 이를 듣고 기뻐하리로다
3나와 함께 여호와를 광대하시다 하며 함께 그의 이름을 높이세
4내가 여호와께 간구하매 내게 응답하시고 내 모든 두려움에서 나를 건지셨도다

9너희 성도들아 여호와를 경외하라 그를 경외하는 자에게는 부족함이 없도다
10젊은 사자는 궁핍하여 주릴지라도 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이 없으리로다
11너희 자녀들아 와서 내 말을 들으라 내가 여호와를 경외하는 법을 너희에게 가르치리로다
12생명을 사모하고 연수를 사랑하여 복 받기를 원하는 사람이 누구뇨
13네 혀를 악에서 금하며 네 입술을 거짓말에서 금할지어다
14악을 버리고 선을 행하며 화평을 찾아 따를지어다
15여호와의 눈은 의인을 향하시고 그의 귀는 그들의 부르짖음에 기울이시는도다
16여호와의 얼굴은 악을 행하는 자를 향하사 그들의 자취를 땅에서 끊으려 하시는도다
17의인이 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그들의 모든 환난에서 건지셨도다
18여호와는 마음이 상한 자를 가까이 하시고 충심으로 통회하는 자를 구원하시는도다
19의인은 고난이 많으나 여호와께서 그의 모든 고난에서 건지시는도다
20그의 모든 뼈를 보호하심이여 그 중에서 하나도 꺾이지 아니하도다
21악이 악인을 죽일 것이라 의인을 미워하는 자는 죄를 받으리로다
22여호와께서 그의 종들의 영혼을 속량하시나니 그에게 피하는 자는 다 벌을 받지 아니하리로다
1Strive thou, O Jehovah, with them that strive with me: Fight thou against them that fight against me.
2Take hold of shield and buckler, And stand up for my help.
3Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that pursue me: Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
4Let them be put to shame and brought to dishonor that seek after my soul: Let them be turned back and confounded that devise my hurt.
5Let them be as chaff before the wind, And the angel of Jehovah driving `them' on.
6Let their way be dark and slippery, And the angel of Jehovah pursuing them.
7For without cause have they hid for me their net `in' a pit; Without cause have they digged `a pit' for my soul.
8Let destruction come upon him unawares; And let his net that he hath hid catch himself: With destruction let him fall therein.
9And my soul shall be joyful in Jehovah: It shall rejoice in his salvation.
10All my bones shall say, Jehovah, who is like unto thee, Who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, Yea, the poor and the needy from him that robbeth him?
11Unrighteous witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I know not.
12They reward me evil for good, `To' the bereaving of my soul.
13But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I afflicted my soul with fasting; And my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
14I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother: I bowed down mourning, as one that bewaileth his mother.
15But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: The abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew `it' not; They did tear me, and ceased not:
16Like the profane mockers in feasts, They gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17Lord, how long wilt thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, My darling from the lions.
18I will give thee thanks in the great assembly: I will praise thee among much people.
19Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
20For they speak not peace; But they devise deceitful words against them that are quiet in the land.
21Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me; They said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
22Thou hast seen it, O Jehovah; keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
23Stir up thyself, and awake to the justice `due' unto me, `Even' unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
24Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to thy righteousness; And let them not rejoice over me.
25Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it: Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
26Let them be put to shame and confounded together that rejoice at my hurt: Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.
27Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: Yea, let them say continually, Jehovah be magnified, Who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

1여호와여 나와 다투는 자와 다투시고 나와 싸우는 자와 싸우소서
2방패와 손 방패를 잡으시고 일어나 나를 도우소서
3창을 빼사 나를 쫓는 자의 길을 막으시고 또 내 영혼에서 나는 네 구원이라 이르소서
4내 생명을 찾는 자들이 부끄러워 수치를 당하게 하시며 나를 상해하려 하는 자들이 물러가 낭패를 당하게 하소서
5그들을 바람 앞에 겨와 같게 하시고 여호와의 천사가 그들을 몰아내게 하소서

12내게 선을 악으로 갚아 나의 영혼을 외롭게 하나
13나는 그들이 병들었을 때에 굵은 베 옷을 입으며 금식하여 내 영혼을 괴롭게 하였더니 내 기도가 내 품으로 돌아왔도다
14내가 나의 친구와 형제에게 행함 같이 그들에게 행하였으며 내가 몸을 굽히고 슬퍼하기를 어머니를 곡함 같이 하였도다
15그러나 내가 넘어지매 그들이 기뻐하여 서로 모임이여 불량배가 내가 알지 못하는 중에 모여서 나를 치며 찢기를 마지아니하도다
16그들은 연회에서 망령되이 조롱하는 자 같이 나를 향하여 그들의 이를 갈도다
17주여 어느 때까지 관망하시려 하나이까 내 영혼을 저 멸망자에게서 구원하시며 내 유일한 것을 사자들에게서 건지소서
18내가 대회 중에서 주께 감사하며 많은 백성 중에서 주를 찬송하리이다
19부당하게 나의 원수된 자가 나로 말미암아 기뻐하지 못하게 하시며 까닭 없이 나를 미워하는 자들이 서로 눈짓하지 못하게 하소서
20무릇 그들은 화평을 말하지 아니하고 오히려 평안히 땅에 사는 자들을 거짓말로 모략하며
21또 그들이 나를 향하여 입을 크게 벌리고 하하 우리가 목격하였다 하나이다
22여호와여 주께서 이를 보셨사오니 잠잠하지 마옵소서 주여 나를 멀리하지 마옵소서
23나의 하나님, 나의 주여 떨치고 깨셔서 나를 공판하시며 나의 송사를 다스리소서
24여호와 나의 하나님이여 주의 공의대로 나를 판단하사 그들이 나로 말미암아 기뻐하지 못하게 하소서
25그들이 마음속으로 이르기를 아하 소원을 성취하였다 하지 못하게 하시며 우리가 그를 삼켰다 말하지 못하게 하소서
26나의 재난을 기뻐하는 자들이 함께 부끄러워 낭패를 당하게 하시며 나를 향하여 스스로 뽐내는 자들이 수치와 욕을 당하게 하소서
27나의 의를 즐거워하는 자들이 기꺼이 노래 부르고 즐거워하게 하시며 그의 종의 평안함을 기뻐하시는 여호와는 위대하시다 하는 말을 그들이 항상 말하게 하소서
28나의 혀가 주의 의를 말하며 종일토록 주를 찬송하리이다
