10And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
11And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entrance of the house of Jehovah, by the chamber of Nathan-melech the chamberlain, which was in the precincts; and he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
12And the altars that were on the roof of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of Jehovah, did the king break down, and beat `them' down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.
13And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
14And he brake in pieces the pillars, and cut down the Asherim, and filled their places with the bones of men.
15Moreover the altar that was at Beth-el, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, even that altar and the high place he brake down; and he burned the high place and beat it to dust, and burned the Asherah.
16And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount; and he sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and defiled it, according to the word of Jehovah which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these things.
17Then he said, What monument is that which I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, who came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Beth-el.
18And he said, Let him be; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
19And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke `Jehovah' to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Beth-el.
20And he slew all the priests of the high places that were there, upon the altars, and burned men's bones upon them; and he returned to Jerusalem.
10왕이 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기의 도벳을 더럽게 하여 어떤 사람도 몰록에게 드리기 위하여 자기의 자녀를 불로 지나가지 못하게 하고
11또 유다 여러 왕이 태양을 위하여 드린 말들을 제하여 버렸으니 이 말들은 여호와의 성전으로 들어가는 곳의 근처 내시 나단멜렉의 집 곁에 있던 것이며 또 태양 수레를 불사르고
12유다 여러 왕이 아하스의 다락 지붕에 세운 제단들과 므낫세가 여호와의 성전 두 마당에 세운 제단들을 왕이 다 헐고 거기서 빻아내려서 그것들의 가루를 기드론 시내에 쏟아 버리고
13또 예루살렘 앞 멸망의 산 오른쪽에 세운 산당들을 왕이 더럽게 하였으니 이는 옛적에 이스라엘 왕 솔로몬이 시돈 사람의 가증한 아스다롯과 모압 사람의 가증한 그모스와 암몬 자손의 가증한 밀곰을 위하여 세웠던 것이며
14왕이 또 석상들을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상들을 찍고 사람의 해골로 그 곳에 채웠더라
15또한 이스라엘에게 범죄하게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암이 벧엘에 세운 제단과 산당들을 왕이 헐고 또 그 산당을 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들며 또 아세라 목상을 불살랐더라
16요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 산에 있는 무덤들을 보고 보내어 그 무덤에서 해골을 가져다가 제단 위에서 불살라 그 제단을 더럽게 하니라 이 일을 하나님의 사람이 전하였더니 그 전한 여호와의 말씀대로 되었더라
17요시야가 이르되 내게 보이는 저것은 무슨 비석이냐 하니 성읍 사람들이 그에게 말하되 왕께서 벧엘의 제단에 대하여 행하신 이 일을 전하러 유다에서 왔던 하나님의 사람의 묘실이니이다 하니라
18이르되 그대로 두고 그의 뼈를 옮기지 말라 하매 무리가 그의 뼈와 사마리아에서 온 선지자의 뼈는 그대로 두었더라
19전에 이스라엘 여러 왕이 사마리아 각 성읍에 지어서 여호와를 격노하게 한 산당을 요시야가 다 제거하되 벧엘에서 행한 모든 일대로 행하고
20또 저기 있는 산당의 제사장들을 다 제단 위에서 죽이고 사람의 해골을 제단 위에서 불사르고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
In a world that constantly demands more — more productivity, more achievement, more anxiety — Psalm 23 speaks a radical word of rest. The shepherd does not drive the sheep; he leads them. There is a profound difference between a God who demands and a God who guides. Today, where do you need to let the Shepherd lead you into rest?

Lord, help me to trust you as my shepherd today. In the places where I feel lack, remind me of your abundance. In the moments of striving, call me back to rest in you. Amen.

1Every wise woman buildeth her house; But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.
2He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
3In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for `his' pride; But the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
4Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox.
5A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness uttereth lies.
6A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and `findeth it' not; But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding.
7Go into the presence of a foolish man, And thou shalt not perceive `in him' the lips of knowledge.
8The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way; But the folly of fools is deceit.
9A trespass-offering mocketh fools; But among the upright there is good will.
10The heart knoweth its own bitterness; And a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
11The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; But the tent of the upright shall flourish.
12There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death.

14The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways; And a good man `shall be satisfied' from himself.
15The simple believeth every word; But the prudent man looketh well to his going.
16A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil; But the fool beareth himself insolently, and is confident.
17He that is soon angry will deal foolishly; And a man of wicked devices is hated.
18The simple inherit folly; But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
19The evil bow down before the good; And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.
20The poor is hated even of his own neighbor; But the rich hath many friends.
21He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth; But he that hath pity on the poor, happy is he.
22Do they not err that devise evil? But mercy and truth `shall be to' them that devise good.
23In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips `tendeth' only to penury.
24The crown of the wise is their riches; `But' the folly of fools is `only' folly.
25A true witness delivereth souls; But he that uttereth lies `causeth' deceit.
26In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence; And his children shall have a place of refuge.
27The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.
28In the multitude of people is the king's glory; But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
29He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
30A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh; But envy is the rottenness of the bones.
31He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him.
32The wicked is thrust down in his evil-doing; But the righteous hath a refuge in his death.
33Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding; But `that which is' in the inward part of fools is made known.
34Righteousness exalteth a nation; But sin is a reproach to any people.
35The king's favor is toward a servant that dealeth wisely; But his wrath will be `against' him that causeth shame.
1지혜로운 여인은 자기 집을 세우되 미련한 여인은 자기 손으로 그것을 허느니라
2정직하게 행하는 자는 여호와를 경외하여도 패역하게 행하는 자는 여호와를 경멸하느니라
3미련한 자는 교만하여 입으로 매를 자청하고 지혜로운 자의 입술은 자기를 보전하느니라
4소가 없으면 구유는 깨끗하려니와 소의 힘으로 얻는 것이 많으니라
5신실한 증인은 거짓말을 아니하여도 거짓 증인은 거짓말을 뱉느니라
6거만한 자는 지혜를 구하여도 얻지 못하거니와 명철한 자는 지식 얻기가 쉬우니라
7너는 미련한 자의 앞을 떠나라 그 입술에 지식 있음을 보지 못함이니라
8슬기로운 자의 지혜는 자기의 길을 아는 것이라도 미련한 자의 어리석음은 속이는 것이니라
9미련한 자는 죄를 심상히 여겨도 정직한 자 중에는 은혜가 있느니라
10마음의 고통은 자기가 알고 마음의 즐거움은 타인이 참여하지 못하느니라
11악한 자의 집은 망하겠고 정직한 자의 장막은 흥하리라
12어떤 길은 사람이 보기에 바르나 필경은 사망의 길이니라
13웃을 때에도 마음에 슬픔이 있고 즐거움의 끝에도 근심이 있느니라
14마음이 굽은 자는 자기 행위로 보응이 가득하겠고 선한 사람도 자기의 행위로 그러하리라
15어리석은 자는 온갖 말을 믿으나 슬기로운 자는 자기의 행동을 삼가느니라
16지혜로운 자는 두려워하여 악을 떠나나 어리석은 자는 방자하여 스스로 믿느니라
17노하기를 속히 하는 자는 어리석은 일을 행하고 악한 계교를 꾀하는 자는 미움을 받느니라
18어리석은 자는 어리석음으로 기업을 삼아도 슬기로운 자는 지식으로 면류관을 삼느니라
19악인은 선인 앞에 엎드리고 불의한 자는 의인의 문에 엎드리느니라
20가난한 자는 이웃에게도 미움을 받게 되나 부요한 자는 친구가 많으니라
21이웃을 업신여기는 자는 죄를 범하는 자요 빈곤한 자를 불쌍히 여기는 자는 복이 있는 자니라
22악을 도모하는 자는 잘못 가는 것이 아니냐 선을 도모하는 자에게는 인자와 진리가 있으리라
23모든 수고에는 이익이 있어도 입술의 말은 궁핍을 이룰 뿐이니라
24지혜로운 자의 재물은 그의 면류관이요 미련한 자의 소유는 다만 미련한 것이니라
25진실한 증인은 사람의 생명을 구원하여도 거짓말을 뱉는 사람은 속이느니라
26여호와를 경외하는 자에게는 견고한 의뢰가 있나니 그 자녀들에게 피난처가 있으리라
27여호와를 경외하는 것은 생명의 샘이니 사망의 그물에서 벗어나게 하느니라
28백성이 많은 것은 왕의 영광이요 백성이 적은 것은 주권자의 패망이니라
29노하기를 더디 하는 자는 크게 명철하여도 마음이 조급한 자는 어리석음을 나타내느니라
30평온한 마음은 육신의 생명이나 시기는 뼈를 썩게 하느니라
31가난한 사람을 학대하는 자는 그를 지으신 이를 멸시하는 자요 궁핍한 사람을 불쌍히 여기는 자는 주를 공경하는 자니라
32악인은 그의 환난에 엎드러져도 의인은 그의 죽음에도 소망이 있느니라
33지혜는 명철한 자의 마음에 머물거니와 미련한 자의 속에 있는 것은 나타나느니라
34공의는 나라를 영화롭게 하고 죄는 백성을 욕되게 하느니라
35슬기롭게 행하는 신하는 왕에게 은총을 입고 욕을 끼치는 신하는 그의 진노를 당하느니라

9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, Thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
10Thy congregation dwelt therein: Thou, O God, didst prepare of thy goodness for the poor.
11The Lord giveth the word: The women that publish the tidings are a great host.
12Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
13When ye lie among the sheepfolds, `It is as' the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
14When the Almighty scattered kings therein, `It was as when' it snoweth in Zalmon.
15A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.
16Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, At the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? Yea, Jehovah will dwell `in it' for ever.
17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them, `as in' Sinai, in the sanctuary.
18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led away captives; Thou hast received gifts among men, Yea, `among' the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell `with them'.
19Blessed be the Lord, who daily beareth our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah
20God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death.
21But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.
22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring `them' again from the depths of the sea;
23That thou mayest crush `them', `dipping' thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from `thine' enemies.
24They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
25The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.
26Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, `ye that are' of the fountain of Israel.
27There is little Benjamin their ruler, The princes of Judah `and' their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents unto thee.
30Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Trampling under foot the pieces of silver: He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war.
31Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.
32Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises unto the Lord; Selah
33To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.
34Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies.
35O God, `thou art' terrible out of thy holy places: The God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto `his' people. Blessed be God. Psalm 69 For the Chief Musician; set to Shoshanim. `A Psalm' of David.
1하나님이 일어나시니 원수들은 흩어지며 주를 미워하는 자들은 주 앞에서 도망하리이다
2연기가 불려 가듯이 그들을 몰아 내소서 불 앞에서 밀이 녹음 같이 악인이 하나님 앞에서 망하게 하소서
3의인은 기뻐하여 하나님 앞에서 뛰놀며 기뻐하고 즐거워할지어다

8땅이 진동하며 하늘이 하나님 앞에서 떨어지며 저 시내 산도 하나님 곧 이스라엘의 하나님 앞에서 진동하였나이다
9하나님이여 주께서 흡족한 비를 보내사 주의 기업이 곤핍할 때에 주께서 그것을 견고하게 하셨고
10주의 회중을 그 가운데에 살게 하셨나이다 하나님이여 주께서 가난한 자를 위하여 주의 은택을 준비하셨나이다
11주께서 말씀을 주시니 소식을 공포하는 여자들은 큰 무리라
12여러 군대의 왕들이 도망하고 도망하니 집에 있던 여자들도 탈취물을 나누도다
13너희가 양 우리에 누울 때에는 그 날개를 은으로 입히고 그 깃을 황금으로 입힌 비둘기 같도다
14전능하신 이가 왕들을 그 중에서 흩으실 때에는 살몬에 눈이 날림 같도다
15바산의 산은 하나님의 산임이여 바산의 산은 높은 산이로다
16너희 높은 산들아 어찌하여 하나님이 계시려 하는 산을 시기하여 보느냐 진실로 여호와께서 이 산에 영원히 계시리로다
17하나님의 병거는 천천이요 만만이라 주께서 그 중에 계심이 시내 산 성소에 계심 같도다
18주께서 높은 곳으로 오르시며 사로잡은 자들을 취하시고 선물들을 사람들에게서 받으시며 반역자들로부터도 받으시니 여호와 하나님이 그들과 함께 계시기 때문이로다
19날마다 우리 짐을 지시는 주 곧 우리의 구원이신 하나님을 찬송할지로다 (셀라)
20하나님은 우리에게 구원의 하나님이시라 사망에서 벗어남은 주 여호와로 말미암거니와
21그의 원수들의 머리 곧 죄를 짓고 다니는 자의 정수리는 하나님이 쳐서 깨뜨리시리로다
22주께서 말씀하시기를 내가 그들을 바산에서 돌아오게 하며 바다 깊은 곳에서 도로 나오게 하고
23네가 그들을 심히 치고 그들의 피에 네 발을 잠그게 하며 네 집의 개의 혀로 네 원수들에게서 제 분깃을 얻게 하리라 하시도다
24하나님이여 그들이 주께서 행차하심을 보았으니 곧 나의 하나님, 나의 왕이 성소로 행차하시는 것이라
25소고 치는 처녀들 중에서 노래 부르는 자들은 앞서고 악기를 연주하는 자들은 뒤따르나이다
26이스라엘의 근원에서 나온 너희여 대회 중에 하나님 곧 주를 송축할지어다
27거기에는 그들을 주관하는 작은 베냐민과 유다의 고관과 그들의 무리와 스불론의 고관과 납달리의 고관이 있도다
28네 하나님이 너의 힘을 명령하셨도다 하나님이여 우리를 위하여 행하신 것을 견고하게 하소서
29예루살렘에 있는 주의 전을 위하여 왕들이 주께 예물을 드리리이다
30갈밭의 들짐승과 수소의 무리와 만민의 송아지를 꾸짖으시고 은 조각을 발 아래에 밟으소서 그가 전쟁을 즐기는 백성을 흩으셨도다
31고관들은 애굽에서 나오고 구스 인은 하나님을 향하여 그 손을 신속히 들리로다
32땅의 왕국들아 하나님께 노래하고 주께 찬송할지어다 (셀라)
33옛적 하늘들의 하늘을 타신 자에게 찬송하라 주께서 그 소리를 내시니 웅장한 소리로다
34너희는 하나님께 능력을 돌릴지어다 그의 위엄이 이스라엘 위에 있고 그의 능력이 구름 속에 있도다
35하나님이여 위엄을 성소에서 나타내시나이다 이스라엘의 하나님은 그의 백성에게 힘과 능력을 주시나니 하나님을 찬송할지어다
1Save me, O God; For the waters are come in unto my soul.
2I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3I am weary with my crying; my throat is dried: Mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: They that would cut me off, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: That which I took not away I have to restore.
5O God, thou knowest my foolishness; And my sins are not hid from thee.
6Let not them that wait for thee be put to shame through me, O Lord Jehovah of hosts: Let not those that seek thee be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.
7Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; Shame hath covered my face.
8I am become a stranger unto my brethren, And an alien unto my mother's children.
9For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up; And the reproaches of them that reproach thee are fallen upon me.
10When I wept, `and chastened' my soul with fasting, That was to my reproach.
11When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword unto them.
12They that sit in the gate talk of me; And `I am' the song of the drunkards.
13But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Jehovah, in an acceptable time: O God, in the abundance of thy lovingkindness, Answer me in the truth of thy salvation.
14Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: Let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15Let not the waterflood overwhelm me, Neither let the deep shallow me up; And let not the pit shut its mouth upon me.
16Answer me, O Jehovah; for thy lovingkindness is good: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies turn thou unto me.
17And hide not thy face from thy servant; For I am in distress; answer me speedily.
18Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: Ransom me because of mine enemies.
19Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: Mine adversaries are all before thee.
20Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.
21They gave me also gall for my food; And in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22Let their table before them become a snare; And when they are in peace, `let it become' a trap.
23Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see; And make their loins continually to shake.
24Pour out thine indignation upon them, And let the fierceness of thine anger overtake them.
25Let their habitation be desolate; Let none dwell in their tents.
26For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; And they tell of the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.
27Add iniquity unto their iniquity; And let them not come into thy righteousness.
28Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous.
29But I am poor and sorrowful: Let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31And it will please Jehovah better than an ox, `Or' a bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
32The meek have seen it, and are glad: Ye that seek after God, let your heart live.
33For Jehovah heareth the needy, And despiseth not his prisoners.
34Let heaven and earth praise him, The seas, and everything that moveth therein.
35For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah; And they shall abide there, and have it in possession.

1하나님이여 나를 구원하소서 물들이 내 영혼에까지 흘러 들어왔나이다
2나는 설 곳이 없는 깊은 수렁에 빠지며 깊은 물에 들어가니 큰 물이 내게 넘치나이다
3내가 부르짖음으로 피곤하여 나의 목이 마르며 나의 하나님을 바라서 나의 눈이 쇠하였나이다
4까닭 없이 나를 미워하는 자가 나의 머리털보다 많고 부당하게 나의 원수가 되어 나를 끊으려 하는 자가 강하였으니 내가 빼앗지 아니한 것도 물어 주게 되었나이다
5하나님이여 주는 나의 우매함을 아시오니 나의 죄가 주 앞에서 숨김이 없나이다
6주 만군의 여호와여 주를 바라는 자들이 나를 인하여 수치를 당하게 하지 마옵소서 이스라엘의 하나님이여 주를 찾는 자가 나로 말미암아 욕을 당하게 하지 마옵소서
7내가 주를 위하여 비방을 받았사오니 수치가 나의 얼굴에 덮였나이다
8내가 나의 형제에게는 객이 되고 나의 어머니의 자녀에게는 낯선 사람이 되었나이다
9주의 집을 위하는 열성이 나를 삼키고 주를 비방하는 비방이 내게 미쳤나이다
10내가 곡하고 금식하였더니 그것이 도리어 나의 욕이 되었으며
11내가 굵은 베로 내 옷을 삼았더니 내가 그들의 말 거리가 되었나이다
12성문에 앉은 자가 나를 비난하며 독주에 취한 무리가 나를 두고 노래하나이다
13여호와여 나를 반기시는 때에 내가 주께 기도하오니 하나님이여 많은 인자와 구원의 진리로 내게 응답하소서
14나를 수렁에서 건지사 빠지지 말게 하시고 나를 미워하는 자에게서와 깊은 물에서 건지소서
15큰 물이 나를 휩쓸거나 깊음이 나를 삼키지 못하게 하시며 웅덩이가 내 위에 덮쳐 그것의 입을 닫지 못하게 하소서
16여호와여 주의 인자하심이 선하시오니 내게 응답하시며 주의 많은 긍휼에 따라 내게로 돌이키소서
17주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게서 숨기지 마소서 내가 환난 중에 있사오니 속히 내게 응답하소서
18내 영혼에게 가까이 하사 구원하시며 내 원수로 말미암아 나를 속량하소서
19주께서 나의 비방과 수치와 능욕을 아시나이다 나의 대적자들이 다 주님 앞에 있나이다
20비방이 나의 마음을 상하게 하여 근심이 충만하니 불쌍히 여길 자를 바라나 없고 긍휼히 여길 자를 바라나 찾지 못하였나이다
21그들이 쓸개를 나의 음식물로 주며 목마를 때에는 초를 마시게 하였사오니
22그들의 밥상이 올무가 되게 하시며 그들의 평안이 덫이 되게 하소서
23그들의 눈이 어두워 보지 못하게 하시며 그들의 허리가 항상 떨리게 하소서
24주의 분노를 그들의 위에 부으시며 주의 맹렬하신 노가 그들에게 미치게 하소서
25그들의 거처가 황폐하게 하시며 그들의 장막에 사는 자가 없게 하소서
26무릇 그들이 주께서 치신 자를 핍박하며 주께서 상하게 하신 자의 슬픔을 말하였사오니
27그들의 죄악에 죄악을 더하사 주의 공의에 들어오지 못하게 하소서
28그들을 생명책에서 지우사 의인들과 함께 기록되지 말게 하소서
29오직 나는 가난하고 슬프오니 하나님이여 주의 구원으로 나를 높이소서
30내가 노래로 하나님의 이름을 찬송하며 감사함으로 하나님을 위대하시다 하리니
31이것이 소 곧 뿔과 굽이 있는 황소를 드림보다 여호와를 더욱 기쁘시게 함이 될 것이라
32곤고한 자가 이를 보고 기뻐하나니 하나님을 찾는 너희들아 너희 마음을 소생하게 할지어다
33여호와는 궁핍한 자의 소리를 들으시며 자기로 말미암아 갇힌 자를 멸시하지 아니하시나니
34천지가 그를 찬송할 것이요 바다와 그 중의 모든 생물도 그리할지로다
35하나님이 시온을 구원하시고 유다 성읍들을 건설하시리니 무리가 거기에 살며 소유를 삼으리로다
36그의 종들의 후손이 또한 이를 상속하고 그의 이름을 사랑하는 자가 그 중에 살리로다
1`Make haste', O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.
2Let them be put to shame and confounded That seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.
3Let them be turned back by reason of their shame That say, Aha, aha.
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5But I am poor and needy; Make haste unto me, O God: Thou art my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, make no tarrying.
