1And it came to pass after the plague, that Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers' houses, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel.
3And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
4`Take the sum of the people', from twenty years old and upward; as Jehovah commanded Moses and the children of Israel, that came forth out of the land of Egypt.
5Reuben, the first-born of Israel; the sons of Reuben: `of' Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
6of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
7These are the families of the Reubenites; and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8And the sons of Pallu: Eliab.
9And the sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram, who were called of the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against Jehovah,
10and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died; what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men, and they became a sign.
11Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah died not.
12The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites;
13of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
14These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.
15The sons of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
16of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;
17of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
18These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.
19The sons of Judah: Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20And the sons of Judah after their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.
21And the sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
22These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and five hundred.
23The sons of Issachar after their families: `of' Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;
24of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
25These are the families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and four thousand and three hundred.
26The sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Seredites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
27These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, threescore thousand and five hundred.
28The sons of Joseph after their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.
29The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begat Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.
30These are the sons of Gilead: `of' Iezer, the family of the Iezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;
31and `of' Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and `of' Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;
32and `of' Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and `of' Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
33And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34These are the families of Manasseh; and they that were numbered of them were fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.
35These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
36And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;
39of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
40And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: `of Ard', the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.
41These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
42These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.
43All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.
44The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites.
45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.
47These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them, fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
48The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
51These are they that were numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
1염병 후에 여호와께서 모세와 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살에게 말씀하여 이르시되
2이스라엘 자손의 온 회중의 총수를 그들의 조상의 가문을 따라 조사하되 이스라엘 중에 이십 세 이상으로 능히 전쟁에 나갈 만한 모든 자를 계수하라 하시니
3모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 그들에게 전하여 이르되
4여호와께서 애굽 땅에서 나온 모세와 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하신 대로 너희는 이십 세 이상 된 자를 계수하라 하니라
5이스라엘의 장자는 르우벤이라 르우벤 자손은 하녹에게서 난 하녹 종족자 발루에게서 난 발루 종족과
6헤스론에게서 난 헤스론 종족과 갈미에게서 난 갈미 종족이니
7이는 르우벤 종족들이라 계수된 자가 사만 삼천칠백삼십 명이었더라
8발루의 아들은 엘리압이요
9엘리압의 아들은 느무엘과 다단과 아비람이라 이 다단과 아비람은 회중 가운데서 부름을 받은 자들이니 고라의 무리에 들어가서 모세와 아론을 거슬러 여호와께 반역할 때에
10땅이 그 입을 벌려서 그 무리와 고라를 삼키매 그들이 죽었고 당시에 불이 이백오십 명을 삼켜 징표가 되게 하였으나
11고라의 아들들은 죽지 아니하였더라
12시므온 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 느무엘에게서 난 느무엘 종족과 야민에게서 난 야민 종족과 야긴에게서 난 야긴 종족과
13세라에게서 난 세라 종족과 사울에게서 난 사울 종족이라
14이는 시므온의 종족들이니 계수된 자가 이만 이천이백 명이었더라
15갓 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 스본에게서 난 스본 종족과 학기에게서 난 학기 종족과 수니에게서 난 수니 종족과
16오스니에게서 난 오스니 종족과 에리에게서 난 에리 종족과
17아롯에게서 난 아롯 종족과 아렐리에게서 난 아렐리 종족이라
18이는 갓 자손의 종족들이니 계수된 자가 사만 오백 명이었더라
19유다의 아들들은 에르와 오난이라 이 에르와 오난은 가나안 땅에서 죽었고
20유다 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 셀라에게서 난 셀라 종족과 베레스에게서 난 베레스 종족과 세라에게서 난 세라 종족이며
21또 베레스 자손은 이러하니 헤스론에게서 난 헤스론 종족과 하물에게서 난 하물 종족이라
22이는 유다 종족들이니 계수된 자가 칠만 육천오백 명이었더라
23잇사갈 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 돌라에게서 난 돌라 종족과 부와에게서 난 부니 종족과
24야숩에게서 난 야숩 종족과 시므론에게서 난 시므론 종족이라
25이는 잇사갈 종족들이니 계수된 자가 육만 사천삼백 명이었더라
26스불론 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 세렛에게서 난 세렛 종족과 엘론에게서 난 엘론 종족과 얄르엘에게서 난 얄르엘 종족이라
27이는 스불론 종족들이니 계수된 자가 육만 오백 명이었더라
28요셉의 아들들의 종족들은 므낫세와 에브라임이요
29므낫세의 자손 중 마길에게서 난 자손은 마길 종족이라 마길이 길르앗을 낳았고 길르앗에게서 난 자손은 길르앗 종족이라
30길르앗 자손은 이러하니 이에셀에게서 난 이에셀 종족과 헬렉에게서 난 헬렉 종족과
31아스리엘에게서 난 아스리엘 종족과 세겜에게서 난 세겜 종족과
32스미다에게서 난 스미다 종족과 헤벨에게서 난 헤벨 종족이며
33헤벨의 아들 슬로브핫은 아들이 없고 딸뿐이라 그 딸의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와 디르사니
34이는 므낫세의 종족들이라 계수된 자가 오만 이천칠백 명이었더라
35에브라임 자손의 종족들은 이러 하니 수델라에게서 난 수델라 종족과 베겔에게서 난 베겔 종족과 다한에게서 난 다한 종족이며
36수델라 자손은 이러하니 에란에게서 난 에란 종족이라
37이는 에브라임 자손의 종족들이니 계수된 자가 삼만 이천오백 명이라 이상은 그 종족을 따른 요셉 자손이었더라
38베냐민 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 벨라에게서 난 벨라 종족과 아스벨에게서 난 아스벨 종족과 아히람에게서 난 아히람 종족과
39스부밤에게서 난 스부밤 종족과 후밤에게서 난 후밤 종족이며
40벨라의 아들들은 아릇과 나아만 이라 아릇에게서 아릇 종족과 나아만에게서 나아만 종족이 났으니
41이는 그들의 종족을 따른 베냐민 자손이라 계수된 자가 사만 오천육백 명이었더라
42단 자손의 종족들은 이러하니라 수함에게서 수함 종족이 났으니 이는 그들의 종족을 따른 단 종족들이라
43수함 모든 종족의 계수된 자가 육만 사천사백 명이었더라
44아셀 자손의 종족들은 이러하니 임나에게서 난 임나 종족과 이스위에게서 난 이스위 종족과 브리아에게서 난 브리아 종족이며
45브리아의 자손 중 헤벨에게서 난 헤벨 종족과 말기엘에게서 난 말기엘 종족이며
46아셀의 딸의 이름은 세라라
47이는 아셀 자손의 종족들이니 계수된 자가 오만 삼천사백 명이었더라
48납달리 자손은 그들의 종족대로 이러하니 야셀에게서 난 야셀 종족과 구니에게서 난 구니 종족과
49예셀에게서 난 예셀 종족과 실렘에게서 난 실렘 종족이라
50이는 그들의 종족을 따른 납달리 종족들이니 계수된 자가 사만 오천사백 명이었더라
51이스라엘 자손의 계수된 자가 육십만 천칠백삼십 명이었더라
In a world that constantly demands more — more productivity, more achievement, more anxiety — Psalm 23 speaks a radical word of rest. The shepherd does not drive the sheep; he leads them. There is a profound difference between a God who demands and a God who guides. Today, where do you need to let the Shepherd lead you into rest?

1Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler; And whosoever erreth thereby is not wise.
2The terror of a king is as the roaring of a lion: He that provoketh him to anger sinneth `against' his own life.
3It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife; But every fool will be quarrelling.
4The sluggard will not plow by reason of the winter; Therefore he shall beg in harvest, and have nothing.
5Counsel in the heart of man is `like' deep water; But a man of understanding will draw it out.
6Most men will proclaim every one his own kindness; But a faithful man who can find?
7A righteous man that walketh in his integrity, Blessed are his children after him.
8A king that sitteth on the throne of judgment Scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
9Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
10Diverse weights, and diverse measures, Both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.

17Bread of falsehood is sweet to a man; But afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

20Whoso curseth his father or his mother, His lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness.
21An inheritance `may be' gotten hastily at the beginning; But the end thereof shall not be blessed.
22Say not thou, I will recompense evil: Wait for Jehovah, and he will save thee.
23Diverse weights are an abomination to Jehovah; And a false balance is not good.
24A man's goings are of Jehovah; How then can man understand his way?
25It is a snare to a man rashly to say, `It is' holy, And after vows to make inquiry.
26A wise king winnoweth the wicked, And bringeth the `threshing' -wheel over them.
27The spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah, Searching all his innermost parts.
28Kindness and truth preserve the king; And his throne is upholden by kindness.
29The glory of young men is their strength; And the beauty of old men is the hoary head.
30Stripes that wound cleanse away evil; And strokes `reach' the innermost parts.

9내가 내 마음을 정하게 하였다 내 죄를 깨끗하게 하였다 할 자가 누구냐
10한결같지 않은 저울 추와 한결같지 않은 되는 다 여호와께서 미워하시느니라
11비록 아이라도 자기의 동작으로 자기 품행이 청결한 여부와 정직한 여부를 나타내느니라
12듣는 귀와 보는 눈은 다 여호와께서 지으신 것이니라
13너는 잠자기를 좋아하지 말라 네가 빈궁하게 될까 두려우니라 네 눈을 뜨라 그리하면 양식이 족하리라
14물건을 사는 자가 좋지 못하다 좋지 못하다 하다가 돌아간 후에는 자랑하느니라
15세상에 금도 있고 진주도 많거니와 지혜로운 입술이 더욱 귀한 보배니라
16타인을 위하여 보증 선 자의 옷을 취하라 외인들을 위하여 보증 선 자는 그의 몸을 볼모 잡을지니라
17속이고 취한 음식물은 사람에게 맛이 좋은 듯하나 후에는 그의 입에 모래가 가득하게 되리라
18경영은 의논함으로 성취하나니 지략을 베풀고 전쟁할지니라
19두루 다니며 한담하는 자는 남의 비밀을 누설하나니 입술을 벌린 자를 사귀지 말지니라
20자기의 아비나 어미를 저주하는 자는 그의 등불이 흑암 중에 꺼짐을 당하리라
21처음에 속히 잡은 산업은 마침내 복이 되지 아니하느니라
22너는 악을 갚겠다 말하지 말고 여호와를 기다리라 그가 너를 구원하시리라
23한결같지 않은 저울 추는 여호와께서 미워하시는 것이요 속이는 저울은 좋지 못한 것이니라
24사람의 걸음은 여호와로 말미암나니 사람이 어찌 자기의 길을 알 수 있으랴
25함부로 이 물건은 거룩하다 하여 서원하고 그 후에 살피면 그것이 그 사람에게 덫이 되느니라
26지혜로운 왕은 악인들을 키질하며 타작하는 바퀴를 그들 위에 굴리느니라
27사람의 영혼은 여호와의 등불이라 사람의 깊은 속을 살피느니라
28왕은 인자와 진리로 스스로 보호하고 그의 왕위도 인자함으로 말미암아 견고하니라
29젊은 자의 영화는 그의 힘이요 늙은 자의 아름다움은 백발이니라
30상하게 때리는 것이 악을 없이 하나니 매는 사람 속에 깊이 들어가느니라

4For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods.
5For all the gods of the peoples are idols; But Jehovah made the heavens.
6Honor and majesty are before him: Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.
8Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name: Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9Oh worship Jehovah in holy array: Tremble before him, all the earth.
10Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth: The world also is established that it cannot be moved: He will judge the peoples with equity.
11Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;
12Let the field exult, and all that is therein; Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy
13Before Jehovah; for he cometh, For he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with his truth.
1새 노래로 여호와께 노래하라 온 땅이여 여호와께 노래할지어다
2여호와께 노래하여 그의 이름을 송축하며 그의 구원을 날마다 전파할지어다
3그의 영광을 백성들 가운데에, 그의 기이한 행적을 만민 가운데에 선포할지어다
4여호와는 위대하시니 지극히 찬양할 것이요 모든 신들보다 경외할 것임이여
5만국의 모든 신들은 우상들이지만 여호와께서는 하늘을 지으셨음이로다

10모든 나라 가운데서 이르기를 여호와께서 다스리시니 세계가 굳게 서고 흔들리지 않으리라 그가 만민을 공평하게 심판하시리라 할지로다
11하늘은 기뻐하고 땅은 즐거워하며 바다와 거기에 충만한 것이 외치고
12밭과 그 가운데에 있는 모든 것은 즐거워할지로다 그 때 숲의 모든 나무들이 여호와 앞에서 즐거이 노래하리니
13그가 임하시되 땅을 심판하러 임하실 것임이라 그가 의로 세계를 심판하시며 그의 진실하심으로 백성을 심판하시리로다
1Jehovah reigneth; let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad.
2Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3A fire goeth before him, And burneth up his adversaries round about.
4His lightnings lightened the world: The earth saw, and trembled.
5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6The heavens declare his righteousness, And all the peoples have seen his glory.
7Let all them be put to shame that serve graven images, That boast themselves of idols: Worship him, all ye gods.
8Zion heard and was glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoiced, Because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.
9For thou, Jehovah, art most high above all the earth: Thou art exalted far above all gods.
10O ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of his saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.
12Be glad in Jehovah, ye righteous; And give thanks to his holy memorial `name'. Psalm 98 A Psalm.
1여호와께서 다스리시나니 땅은 즐거워하며 허다한 섬은 기뻐할지어다
2구름과 흑암이 그를 둘렀고 공의와 정의가 그의 보좌의 기초로다
3불이 그의 앞에서 나와 사방의 대적들을 불사르시는도다
4그의 번개가 세계를 비추니 땅이 보고 떨었도다
5산들이 여호와의 앞 곧 온 땅의 주 앞에서 밀랍 같이 녹았도다
6하늘이 그의 의를 선포하니 모든 백성이 그의 영광을 보았도다
7조각한 신상을 섬기며 허무한 것으로 자랑하는 자는 다 수치를 당할 것이라 너희 신들아 여호와께 경배할지어다

9여호와여 주는 온 땅 위에 지존하시고 모든 신들보다 위에 계시니이다
10여호와를 사랑하는 너희여 악을 미워하라 그가 그의 성도의 영혼을 보전하사 악인의 손에서 건지시느니라

1Oh sing unto Jehovah a new song; For he hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, hath wrought salvation for him.
2Jehovah hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the nations.
3He hath remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all the earth: Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.
5Sing praises unto Jehovah with the harp; With the harp and the voice of melody.
6With trumpets and sound of cornet Make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.
7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein;
8Let the floods clap their hands; Let the hills sing for joy together
9Before Jehovah; for he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.
1새 노래로 여호와께 찬송하라 그는 기이한 일을 행하사 그의 오른손과 거룩한 팔로 자기를 위하여 구원을 베푸셨음이로다
2여호와께서 그의 구원을 알게 하시며 그의 공의를 뭇 나라의 목전에서 명백히 나타내셨도다
3그가 이스라엘의 집에 베푸신 인자와 성실을 기억하셨으므로 땅 끝까지 이르는 모든 것이 우리 하나님의 구원을 보았도다

7바다와 거기 충만한 것과 세계와 그 중에 거주하는 자는 다 외칠지어다
8여호와 앞에서 큰 물은 박수할지어다 산악이 함께 즐겁게 노래할지어다
9그가 땅을 심판하러 임하실 것임이로다 그가 의로 세계를 판단하시며 공평으로 그의 백성을 심판하시리로다

5Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And worship at his footstool: Holy is he.
6Moses and Aaron among his priests, And Samuel among them that call upon his name; They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.
7He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud: They kept his testimonies, And the statute that he gave them.
8Thou answeredst them, O Jehovah our God: Thou wast a God that forgavest them, Though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

1여호와께서 다스리시니 만민이 떨 것이요 여호와께서 그룹 사이에 좌정하시니 땅이 흔들릴 것이로다
2시온에 계시는 여호와는 위대하시고 모든 민족보다 높으시도다
